1. For my project, I decided to delve more deeply into the issues of cyber-bullying. I chose this because I have experienced some of the negative effects of social networking and cell-phones when in junior high, and seen the ways it can hurt myself and those around me.
2. My purpose in creating this project was really so that my viewers would learn that cyber-bullying is more common than you think. You may think it is just a funny comment, but it can truly hurt someone and affect them offline.
3. In creating an interactive Powerpoint, you allow the learner to go through at their own pace, and give them knowledge and resources they can build on as they go. I think there is a more effective learning when one does it themselves, rather than when they are presented with something they can tune out.
4. I learned the concept of question and answer within a power-point, rather than plugging the information down someone's throat. I also learned that it is important to provide questions that will expand the topic beyond information provided so that the learners can form their own opinion about it.
5. I was able to find appropriate graphics for each slide that I felt really added to my presentation.
6. I was unable to attend class today, so I think I didn't do the transitions or animations like I was supposed to and may have to resubmit.
7. Inserting graphics, bullet points on different levels of tabbing, citing sources.
